Dr. Patel was born and raised in Orlando, Florida. She received her BS in biology at the University of Central Florida and then her degree in veterinary medicine at the University of Tennessee in 2021. In high school, Dr. Patel began volunteering at her local animal shelter and started her own school club to benefit the welfare of animals. Once she began college, she co-founded UCF’s registered student organization called Don’t Shop, Adopt. Through all the charity events and volunteering, Dr. Patel truly fell in love with giving animals a better life. 

Her special veterinary interests include preventative healthcare, pain management, geriatric care, and client/ community education. In her free time, Dr. Patel loves to spend time with her friends and family. She enjoys hiking, trying out new restaurants, kayaking, board games, weight lifting, volunteering, traveling, and meeting new people! 

Family is the most important thing to Dr. Patel and she can’t wait to take care of your family’s beloved pets as her very own!
