Dr. Raúl Candelario Méndez was born and raised in Puerto Rico. Dr. Candelario holds a B.A. in Agricultural engineering from University of Puerto Rico.  He obtained his medical degree at Ross University of Veterinary Medicine and did his residency in Michigan State University.  He has been practicing since 2018.

He enjoys dental procedures and internal medicine.  In addition, he has a Fear Free and Cat Friendly Veterinarian Certification.  He loves spending time outdoors kayaking and visiting theme parks.  He also enjoys playing video games.  He has two fur babies.  A cat named TT and a dog named Luna.
