Dr. Allison  started in the veterinary field in 1994 and has been practicing companion animal veterinary medicine in central Florida since graduating from the University of Florida, College of Veterinary Medicine in 2006. After her vet school heart dog developed a degenerative spine condition, Dr. Allison enrolled at the Chi University in Reddick, Florida to study small animal acupuncture and became a certified veterinary acupuncturist in 2016. She has continued her training with courses i advanced acupuncture techniques, traditional Chinese herbal medicine, and food therapy. Dr. Allison believes in taking an integrative approach to her cases, combining both western and eastern medical modalities to benefit the patient.
