Dr. Costas was born in New York, but lived in South Florida for most of her life. She moved to the Orlando area in 2015. Dr. Costas wanted to be a vet for as long as she can remember. She was able to fulfill this dream when she graduated from the University of Florida School of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. Although she loves her canine patients, she is truly a cat person at heart. She shares her home with her husband, teenage daughter and 4 cats. Dr. Costas has volunteered several times for Habitat for Humanity and spent 5 years working with the Sea Turtle Relocation Project in Broward County. In her free time, she enjoys reading, going to art festivals, yoga, and spending time with family.
