Angie has been working in the veterinary field since 1994. We are so fortunate that Angie has worked at UAH since August 2000! She is a ray of sunshine to all of our clients. When you arrive at UAH, typically she is the first one to greet you. She is extremely welcoming, always greeting her pets by name as they arrive.

Cherrisse is born and raised in Orlando, FL. She has been in the animal medical field for 18 years and has a passion for the animal-human bond. After graduating with her master’s degree she joined University Animal Hospital and is excited to be part of such an amazing team. On her down time she enjoys playing and creating with her kids, long walks with her pup and anytime that she can spend at the beach is a blessing.
Cheniene is a native Floridian, a lover of all things Disney, and has been chasing her dream to have a career in Veterinarian Medicine since she was a young girl. She is about to graduate from the University of Central Florida with her B.S in Biology, with a minor in History. She is a past Vice President of UCF’s Pre-Veterinary Society and is involved with several research projects on campus. When she is not in school or in the office, she enjoys reading, traveling to exciting places, and doing outdoorsy things with friends. She absolutely adores working at University Animal Hospital and helping to provide the utmost service for our clients.
Jennifer “Jenny” joined our practice in 1999. She took some time off to grow her family, and returned as a part time receptionist in 2013.
Sarah was born to horse jockey parents in New Port Richey, Florida. She grew up in Ohio and has been around animals her entire life. It seemed fitting for her to join the veterinary field in 2009. She lives with her husband, cat, dog and her first child born October of 2016. In her free time, she enjoys gaming, anything geek and playing with her daughter.
Tammy was born and raised in Merritt Island, Florida. She is a true animal lover and has been a veterinary receptionist for over 20 years. She shares her home with a menagerie of dogs and one cat, and has three children: Micaela, Tevon, and Drakar. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her two legged and four legged family members.
Amanda has been in the veterinary field since 2008. Her love and passion for animals led her to a clinic in Savannah, GA where she was trained as a veterinary assistant. She relocated to Orlando in 2013, and we are lucky to have her as a member of our UAH family. Amanda’s first “baby” is a boxer-mix named Payton, and she also has a 2.5 yr old son who she adores!
Gina is a native Floridian who grew up riding horses and working with young birds in distress. She knew at a young age that she would always be a participant in the veterinary field. After obtaining her Biology degree from Daytona State College, she moved to Orlando to continue her veterinary medicine studies at UCF. She became a wonderful addition to our team in 2017.
Jessica “Jessie” has been working in the veterinary field since 2005. She has a strong passion for animals, and loves working in the industry. She has two dogs, and hound mix named “Roxy”, and a mixed breed named “Jones”. She also has two cats named Max and Callie. She enjoys outdoor activities, reading, movies, and spending time with family and friends.
Stephanie has been in the veterinary field since 1999. She graduated from Brevard Community College in 2001 with a degree and certification in Veterinary Technology. She has been a part of our team since 2002. Stephanie has two cats named Jasper and Luther. She also has a dog named Porter. In her free time she enjoys reading, attending concerts, movies, and spending time with family and friends.
Tanya has been in the veterinary medicine field since 2003 and joined University Animal Hospital in 2016. She studied biology at Seminole State College. Tanya has always had a strong love for all animals. When not playing at work, she enjoys family time with her husband and two children. She also enjoys kayaking, yoga and nature walks.

Alex joined our team in the summer 2016. She is a current student at UCF in the Biology program. Her goal is to attend veterinary school with a focus on emergency animal medicine. In her free time she enjoys playing with her two cats, Sam and Bella and her two dogs, Dopey and Boa. She also enjoys spending time at the beach and watching Gray’s Anatomy.
Cayla grew up in Florida and has a background in working with service dogs. Her passion for animals grew when she started volunteering with therapeutic riding services and local animal farms. She prides herself in her work here and loves taking care of all our four-legged friends and plans on continuing her education in veterinary medicine. Cayla came on to work for our hospital family in 2016.
Erica joined the UAH team in April 2016. She is a student at UCF majoring in Biomedical Sciences. She hopes to attend vet school and work with wildlife refuge and conservation efforts. In her free time she like spending time with her family and four dachshunds, Luke, Lily, Jake and Daisy.
Shadra has been working with animals since 1989. She has been with UAH since 1999. She has four dogs Picazzo, Moon Cherie, Leonardo, and Davinci. She also has a bird named Gemini.
